Year-end Dutcham Dinner great success

The year-end Dutcham Dinner for members and friends was held in the Intercontinental Hotel in São Paulo on Wednesday November 26, and proved once more an enormous success. Several companies brought their business relations and executives, often accompanied by their husbands or spouses.

One of the major attractions was the performance of a theater group called Atelie Teatro, with the very funny actors Romina Boemer and Marcelo Cunha. Check out the photos and you will see that they provoked good laughs and grabbed full attention during the full duration of their entertainment. We can recommend this amazingly funny and tellented group for people who seek something different for their private or business parties. Have a look at www.atelieteatro.com.br

The photos (click here to see a larger selection), by the way, were taken by a Dutch professional photographer resident in São Paulo. He now owns a Disign Studio with Alexandra Ward and they offer their services to interested parties. His name is Henk Nieman, phone (55) 11 - 3875.6067 / 8243.7234, e-mail henk.nieman@gmail.com.  He actually looks like his logo:

Among the official sponsors of the event were: La Vigne, Unilever, Doceira Holandesa, Confeitaria Martin Holandesa, Galina Sheetikoff, Figwal, Gaia Silva Rolim & Associados, KLM-AirFrance, Hotel Intercontinental, Makro, and the Gelre Group.

A different special attraction proved to be very successful, being a "SILENT AUCTION":
Beautiful products (click here) could be bought for open prices without minimum. Thereto, anonymous bids were offered in small urns, sitting in front of each product on the exposure table. The suspense thus created during the whole dinner proved a working formula, because the final bids as received resulted in a collection of funds totaling
R$ 9.778,49, a welcome extra to balance the Chamber's finance as a self-supporting not-for-profit organization. The return for donators sat in the promotion of the products on display at the event, on the web-site and in the Holland Business Bulletin.
