Participation in the Council of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Brazil
Representation at the European Chamber of Mediation and Arbitration.
Participation at the “Group of International Investors”, GIE.
Participation in the Inter-Chamber commission for trade in Carbon Credits.

Editorials about Brazil were provided for several news media in the Netherlands.
Several presentations about doing business in Brazil were given in the Netherlands, and a strategic conference was organized together with the Brazilian Embassy and presence of the Brazilian Minister of Agriculture. 
A working visit to the Netherlands was undertaken by the Managing Director.
The web-site www.dutcham.com.br with links to member sites and other facilities was updated and further enhanced. The average number of monthly visitors surpassed 3.000.
Production and delivery was undertaken of several surveys and market-studies.
A seminar about the political and economic scenarios for Brazil was organized together with the British Chamber of Commerce.
The legal committee gathered and provided material around the issue of “Protecting Intellectual Property”.
Participation with a team and sponsors at the “World Cup of Chambers” football tournament of International Chambers.
A visit was received by and assistance offered to the executives of the Netherlands Organization for Higher Education “NUFFIC” with the intention to create a “Netherlands Educational Support Office” (N.E.S.O.)
Participation at a dinner for the Dutch Minister of Agriculture who was on an official visit to Brazil.
A conclusive study-paper was made under supervision by the Chamber by a graduate student from the Business University of Maastricht entitled “Improving the Success rate of Doing Business in Brazil”.
Support was provided to Felsberg Associates in the organization of seminars on Dutch taxes and Carbon Credits, respectively.
Several groups of Dutch University students were received, and workshops provided.
Presentations about doing business in Brazil were provided for groups from VNO-NCW.
A roundtable session about Brazil was organized at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce for the Province of Brabant.
A group of clients from Rabobank was received and a presentation provided.
In-door workshops were given for management of several Dutch multinationals visiting Brazil.
A year-end dinner party for members and friends was organized in São Paulo.
Twelve new member companies were accepted.
Practical assistance was provided to 71 Brazilian exporters, 23 Brazilian importers, 14 Dutch exporters, and 11 Dutch importers.
In depth coaching was provided to 11 Dutch investors in Brazil, and 4 Brazilian investors in the Netherlands.
Newsletters were produced and distributed among member-companies in the Netherlands.
Newsletters were produced and distributed among member-companies in Brazil, notably twelve editions of the “Holland Business Bulletin” in cooperation with the Dutch Consulate General.
Certificates of origin, end-user certificates, and specific declarations were issued.
